LG 24 CU FT frigerator

Had for a little over 5 years and the ice maker failed. Was too costly to repair. Will turn off the ice maker and resort to ice trays. Discovered it is hard to find a business to even repair a LG appliance. Will not buy another LG appliance. LG was not willing to help with the repair either.

Over all not so good door alarm needed a service call within a week of delivery Now door lark needs repair again. Fridge and freezer not working correctly. Have a service repair man coming on Thursday 20th to address these issues.

A Plain Fridge With Potential Future.

I bought the fridge arou d 5 years ago. It has a strong compressor warranty.... Unfortunately I will be using the warranty sooner than later. We will see if LG has a strong customer service team.

All shelves have cracks

I bought the LG refrigerator as an investment hoping it would hold up more than two years. We take care of our things. It was such a disappointment to see cracks on each shelf on the white plastic border around the glass shelves . I should have checked further reviews because this is an ongoing problem with the refrigerator. Customer service said we could buy replacements but why would I want to do that The price of the shelves would be close to a new refrigerator. May as well buy a new one but definitely not an LG
