Nothing but problems
We purchased this fridge 5 1/2 years ago and have had to have it serviced every year. It regularly has a frost and loss of cooling issues. Condenser compressor and both evaporators replaced multiple times. Also had the control board replaced within the first 2 years. Purchased from Sears with an extended warranty. Since service was completed through Sears warranty for the first 3 years LG will not replace. The policy is 3 consecutive services initiated by THEIR repair department. I had the number of repairs required within the timeframe but did not have services dispatched from LG. AE is one of the vendors LG has sent to repair the appliance in the past 2 years which is the same company we had repairs completed through Sears. Same company completing repairs but different number called. I have provided documentation of all repairs completed by AE under Sears warranty but LG does not care. Sixth service completed on Friday fridge still is not cooling. LG willing to give us 20 off a new fridge since we are out of the 5 year window despite having multiple repairs within the 5 year window two of which have been out of pocket cost. Customer service representatives are very nice to speak with however are unable to help due to LG policy. Terrible appliance terrible company. Will not stand behind their product on a technicality.
