Extremely disappointed

The compressor went on my 3 year old 29 cubic foot refrigerator. It took 2 weeks to get it repaired. We were given a small allotment for a mini fridge while waiting for repair. LG offered $250 to compensate for lost food. 29 cubic feet holds a lot of food. Not happy but accepted offer just to be ignored. I am VERY UNHAPPY with LG

We have had our refrigerator for 2 years Right before Christmas it stopped working Had a service man come out and found the compressor quit working. We are still waiting for parts to come in to fix this refrigerator Another family member had same problem after owning her refrigerator for 3 years. Will never buy another LG product. Very disappointed. Who knows how much longer we will be without our refrigerator

3-years and cooling system went out

So we really quite loved our LG fridge: spacious bright well organized. Got the model with ice-maker in the bottom freezer because wed read they have fewer ice-maker issues. This has been working out fine. HOWEVER weve had this fridge only 3-years and its now been a month since it quit cooling. Repairmans first visit: scheduled for tomorrow. Thankfully Ace Hardware who sold us the fridge got us a loaner or wed be really really unhappy.

Excellent product except for a not so full proof compressor which only lasted a few years. The best news ever is that LG replaced the new compressor for cost.
