Amazing factory service

On my 9+ year old unit - Called and had LG come to service when it quit cooling sufficiently - Fantastic tech William came and identified my problem immediately hooked me up with a new compressor and I only had to pay for a service charge. Im so satisfied I tell all my friends about the experience and then went out and bought a new LG microwave. You guys ROCK

Great refrigerator - until it stops working.

I have 2 LG refrigerators and love them both. Spacious maintain temperature easy to clean. One is over 11 years old and has worked like a champ. The second is newer with a linear compressor which started making noise then stopped cooling the refrigerator after 7 years. I cannot get anyone to come fix it even though the compressor is under warranty so am somewhat lost about what to do. The refrigerator is otherwise in like new condition. LG has no in-house techs in this area - and Ive contacted at least 8 appliance services and either were too far or they dont work on LGs. Difficult to stay loyal to a brand if no one will do repairs -

Our prior French door LG had better features.. 3 veggie bins a bigger full bin at the bottom half shelves that came off easier for cleaning and for moving to different levels. The new one has 2 bins for veggies and you have to open both doors to open 1 bin. The doors themselves seem lightweight and not solidly built as our prior. Improved does not mean better.
